So, I found my camera cord and thought I'd share a few snapshots of our most recent adventure. Wilson's ship got free tickets to a Brad Paisley concert last Friday, so (of course!) we went, along with a good friend whose hubby was on duty.
It was a great show. Darius Rucker opened for Brad and did a great job. He even broke out a few old Hootie songs! And Brad Paisley puts on an awesome concert. We knew all but 2 of his songs and just had a blast.
Now, if you've ever been to a country concert, you understand that this is an event that beats all other events for people-watching. To illustrate this point, here are some pictures of the people sitting around us...
If you look really close you can see the bottle of SoC0 that someone in their group snuck into the concert. It was gone in about 15 minutes. Seriously. Later on they pulled out bottles of "water" that they poured into their coke. Oh yes...good times.
Classic.
Yeah...I just had to blur out her face. It seemed mean otherwise.
What?? Who are those lovely ladies? They don't seem to fit in with the crazy, drunken, poorly-dressed crowd around them! Looks like they're having a good time though.
Me and my wonderful husband who snagged these sweet tickets for us!
Yes, we had a lovely time. No sunburn, picnic dinner, and a hoarse voice in the morning. Done and done.

The Beginning
Moving into a new house is a LOT of work!!
Between stepping around the boxes, scrutinizing paint samples, and trying to navigate the wide wide world of landscaping, there's plenty to keep a girl busy! We are absolutely loving our new home though. Wilson has seeded the yard with new grass and everyday shows me how his little bare patches of ground are filling in.
Me: "Yes, dear. That grass is really growing! What a difference since yesterday."
Him: "Did you feel it?" (As he leans over and pets the grass.)
Me: "Uh huh"
Him: "No, take your shoes off and see what it's going to be like to walk on it."
And so it continues.
Our puppies are growing up; 5 months old now! I'll post pictures...as soon as I can figure out which box is hiding my camera cord.
Stay tuned!
