Long time, No post!

Wilson informed me today that I haven't posted on this blog since September.  Shame on me!  Well...here's a snapshot (or a few) of what we've been up to...

Wilma did this herself.

Wilson did this himself, too.

An A Capella singing group at Dollywood.

 On the train at Dollywood.
Wilma and Betty with new, big bones.

They get really cold, so we got them sweatshirts!
Wilson's latest project...Glass-front gun cases!! Don't they look great?

My Autumn wreath that I made with Mrs. Miles on vacation!

Whew! We've been busy!! You guys feel up-to-date and loved now?? =)

Labor Day Weekend...Belated

Yes I know I'm late telling y'all about our Labor Day weekend, but promptness has never been my strong suit. As my dear friend Mrs. Peggy would say, "Get over it."  =)  I just love her!

Anywho, for the long weekend Wilson and I went to my parents' lake house. We played on the boat for 3 days straight! We tubed and skied and kneeboarded and played cornhole and ate and ate and ate...basically had all kinds of fun!

My Mom, sister Sarah, and I tubing.  Woohoo!!

Wilson, my brother-in-law John, and me tubing.  And yes...I was as terrified as I look.  We were going reeeaallyy faaast!!  And when we fell it reeeaallyy hurt!!

Wilson kneeboarding for the first time.

Wilson doing a 180...the first time he went kneeboarding.  Yeah...he's "good at the stuff"*

Cornholio!!

*"Good at the stuff": Everyone knows someone like this.  You teach them how to play a game, for instance, and they promptly beat you at it.  Particularly sports.  Like my sister: Dad taught her how to play horseshoes, and she turned around and got a ringer on her third throw.  Yeah...I married one of those people.

We really had a blast!!  What did you do for Labor Day weekend?

FREE Brad Paisley Tickets!!

So, I found my camera cord and thought I'd share a few snapshots of our most recent adventure. Wilson's ship got free tickets to a Brad Paisley concert last Friday, so (of course!) we went, along with a good friend whose hubby was on duty.

It was a great show. Darius Rucker opened for Brad and did a great job. He even broke out a few old Hootie songs! And Brad Paisley puts on an awesome concert. We knew all but 2 of his songs and just had a blast.

Now, if you've ever been to a country concert, you understand that this is an event that beats all other events for people-watching. To illustrate this point, here are some pictures of the people sitting around us...

If you look really close you can see the bottle of SoC0 that someone in their group snuck into the concert. It was gone in about 15 minutes. Seriously. Later on they pulled out bottles of "water" that they poured into their coke. Oh yes...good times.

Classic.

Yeah...I just had to blur out her face. It seemed mean otherwise.

What?? Who are those lovely ladies? They don't seem to fit in with the crazy, drunken, poorly-dressed crowd around them! Looks like they're having a good time though.

Me and my wonderful husband who snagged these sweet tickets for us!

Yes, we had a lovely time. No sunburn, picnic dinner, and a hoarse voice in the morning. Done and done.
